Did the city blind me ?

Was going through some of my old mails and I happened to skim through some stuff I had written when I was 19. This was the time when I had newly relocated to Mumbai and was working as a trainee at Blue Lotus Communications.

It was magical! I was this unbelievably starry eyed girl, wanting to experience every bit that a ‘work life’ had to offer. I had loads of confidence. I was extremely enterprising. I was uninhibited, fearless and naïve…. Strangely I don’t possess even half of what I did, back then. Not that my confidence seems to be at an all time low right now, but I am undeniably more conscious and more practical about everything I do now. But five years back, I felt more aware …. more empowered …… As U2 rightly put it, ‘the more you see the less you know. The less you find out as you go. I knew much more then than I do now’….. Couldn’t think of a better-suited context to this line.

Did this make sense? It did to me :)

:-) It did make sense..

Those are greeat lines.. very deep. Although they could be modified to saying 'the more you see, the more you know, the less there is to find out as you go..' :-)

Perhaps what is needed is newer experiences of a different kind which i'm sure you're about to go through in the next few months, after you-know-what... ;-)

Hmm.. does make sense.. however I guess we always feel we know very little and want to know more... this process of learning makes us more inquisitive in our behaviour.. and when we look back at times... we feel yes I was strange to this XYZ thing..but guess when you know about it... you still feel you know very little..as its a human mind.. mostly never satisfied.. always want more..!

Though deep meaning rooted inside the lines...

did that make any sense now :-) ???
